Jon has a B.S. in Anthropology with a minor in mathematics. After his undergraduate studies, Jon had a temporary position monitoring networks on the night shift in a local telecom company that accidentally turned into an IT job.
Jon worked at New Global Telecom in Golden, Colorado, in various software development, architecture, product development, and management roles from 1997 to 2003. In 2003, he founded Red Globe Inc. and has been consulting independently since then.
In the last few years, Jon has worked closely with various state and local Education Agencies, the Micheal and Susan Dell Foundation, and the Ed-Fi alliance to address business intelligence, data interoperability, and data quality issues in K-12 education.
Jon works for clients all over the world from his home office in Hotchkiss Colorado, a small community in the North Fork of the Gunnison valley on the western part of the state that is known for delicious fruits, a thriving arts scene, and agreeable standard of living. “Red Globe” is one of his favorite local peach varieties.
